Held in a carefully selected location with beautiful gardens and private indoor spaces, this approximately 1.5-hour experience allows you to create timeless photographs while immersing yourself in the refined beauty of Kyoto’s traditional culture.
A maiko or geiko will join you for a private photoshoot, dressed in exquisite traditional attire and embodying the grace and elegance that have been preserved within Kyoto’s kagai (geisha districts) for generations. You may request either a maiko or a geiko for your experience. It is also possible to request both a maiko and a geiko together, with additional fees applying.
More than a photography session, this is an opportunity to enjoy genuine conversation and cultural exchange. Throughout the experience, you will have time to learn about their lives, traditions, and the artistry behind their appearance, creating meaningful memories beyond the photographs themselves.
